Ski holidays in Kitzbühel

Kitzbuhel is situated in the eastern Tyrol. Dominated by the Hahnenkamm and Kitzbuhlerhorn mountains it looks like a scene from a chocolate box. The skiing here is very impressive.

Kitzbuhel ski holidays cater for all levels and abilities. Slightly favouring the intermediate skier, but only just, there are 26 red runs at over 78 kms. Next comes the novices with 21 blue runs at over 67 kms. Finally the expert skiers get an impressive 13 black runs at over 23 kms in length. All in all, it adds up to an impressive tally. There are 30 lifts which are able to carry 76,230 people every hour. Just in case this is not a large enough area, then a ski pass will give you access to over 160 kms of interlinked ski runs between the neighbouring resorts. The season starts on the 12th December and closes on the 20th April.

For snowboarders, the Kitzbuhlerhorn is the place to be. It has a couple of half pipes, a quarter pipe as well as a sprint slalom course. If you enjoy powder boarding, then the ski safari route is pretty hot.
