The hotel dates back to 1872, the golden age of spa tourism, and has to date preserved its original appearanced despite several renovations. It used to be one of the most beautiful hotels in the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the pride of the Styrian region. In 2023, it underwent a comprehensive renovation and now has a total of 43 modern rooms on three floors: eight single rooms, 27 "king" double rooms, four "queen" double rooms with a couch, one "queen" double room, and three superior "twin" double rooms.
The hotel is equipped with an elevator that goes up to the second floor, from there on, stairs lead to the third floor.
Modern rooms offer a bathroom (toilet, shower), a hairdryer, cooling/heating, underfloor heating in the bathroom and hallway, a TV, a minibar, a safe, and a kettle.
The hotel also has a reception (7:00-19:00), a restaurant with a self-service breakfast and dinner, and the Švicarija café.
Active guests can make use of the fitness center, while the Sauna Spa with Finnish and Turkish saunas, a rest area, an outdoor thermal shower, and a Kneipp pool provide relaxation and regeneration. For all business occasions, there is a business room available, equipped with a computer, printer, television, and a meeting table. Guest parking is available in the hotel vicinity, free of charge.
Dogs are also welcome at the hotel with prior notice.
