Saint Jean d'Arves is a ski resort located in the Northern French Alps. It's directly connected to the first ski area in the Maurienne valley: les Sybelles (310 km of ski slopes).

The resort offers panoramic view on the Arves peaks (3514 meters high). Skiing, snowshoeing, paragliding, hiking and tranquility are the main assets of Saint Jean d'Arves. Those who appreciate beautiful large spaces without the crowd will enjoy their stay.

The A 43 highway and the train station in Saint Jean de Maurienne (besides the Lyon, Chambéry, Grenoble and Geneva airports) provide easy access.

During the summer period, agriculture becomes the main activity once more. There is an abundance of flowers, cows roaming the fields filling the air with the sound of their bells and enjoy Beaufort cheese as the local speciality.
