Hochfügen Hochzillertal - A Hoch Wild Ski Holiday
Hochfügen Hochzillertal relies on close connection to the Innsbruck airport which is only 50 km away. Though Hochfügen Hochzillertal looks strangely small on paper - 32 total ski runs for instance, though in reality there is over 155 km in all. The lowest attitude is about as low as possible at 558 meters, but the maximum height of 2501 meters means plenty of long rides, the longest being 8 km from start to finish. The farthest drop any skier will ride here loses 1943 meters. The slopes are open only for over four months, from the beginning of December untill the end of April, so there is a lot of artificial snow, some areas as high as 70%. The drag, chair or cable lift (no gondola here) transport thousands to the top per hour. One highlight of Hochfügen Hochzillertal is the snowboarding park. There is a freestyle park with slides, boxes, jumps, half pipe, fun park with plenty of long pipes and rails with sound system. Those not into either skiing or snowboarding at Hochfügen Hochzillertal will still be in luck. Ice skating, ice-climbing, horse-sledging, snow tubing, tobogganing and other slope saunters make life here always fast and fun.
