Bohinj - Vogel ski holidays offer visitors the chance to enjoy the Vogel ski resort which can be found in the centre of the stunning Triglav National Park, nestled high above Lake Bohinj.

This is a quiet destination most suited to beginners and intermediate skiers with its 14 runs serviced by 8 lifts. The Vogel cable car operates throughout the year and has the capacity to carry 950 persons per hour. From the foot of the mountain (nor far from the Lake Bohinj) you are lifted to the altitude of 1535 m above sea level, from where you can enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the Triglav mountain range, all the way to the Kamnik Alps.

Night skiing and cross country can also be enjoyed at Bohinj Vogal, Snowboarders are not forgotten either as there is a snowpark for their use. Vogal also offer ski tours with a guide on fresh virgin snow and for those seeking an adrenalin rush there are two person paraglide flights to the valley below.

Apres Ski & Nightlife

There are several bars and restaurants which cater for all tastes. Restaurant Viharnik is located on the upper station of the cable car and offers home cooked food together with panoramic views. Bar Macesen is situated at the bottom station of the gondola lift and is popular with visitors prior to skiing as well as after.
Apres ski parties are frequently laid on with torchlight and heaters to get everyone in the party mood.

Shopping in Bohinj will spoil you for choice, there is plenty of shopping in the area and Bled is only 33 kms away with its markets and shops.
