Ski Lodge Jaktman

Ski Lodge Jaktman is a family owned hotel/pension. We are from Sweden and all of us have been skiing all our lives in Sweden, the Alps and in the US. During our vacation weeks we have seen both good and not so good examples of how to run a hotel/pension and have asked ourselves - "Hur svårt kan det va?" (How hard can it be?) When we got the opportunity to buy this perfect house, we saw Ski Lodge Jaktman in front of us and the chance to run a pension the way it should be run - with attention to detail, a personal touch and a dedication of servicing our guests. Our goal is to deliver an unforgettable experience where our guests feel like family and will return season after season. We love skiing in winter and cycling and playing golf in summer. Ski Lodge Jaktman is situated in the pretty village of Böckstein, just 3 km from Bad Gastein. Böckstein is a small and friendly village with a few hotels, bars, restaurants and shops. The local buses run regularly all year round along the valley and are free during the ski season with a lift pass. Bad Gastein is a short bus (8 min) or taxi ride away with many bars, nightclubs and restaurants. There is plenty to do in both winter and summer. A perfect place for the outdoor enthusiast or a place to come to for relaxation - to get away from the daily trappings of life.
