Hotel Der Löwe

Located in the centre of Leogang, the family run 4-star Hotel Der Löwe lebe frei enjoys a quiet location surrounded by scenic mountains. It features 2 modern spa areas, an indoor pool, several saunas, and a private ski shuttle. Free high-speed WiFi and a charging station for e-cars are featured.

The spacious, traditionally furnished rooms at Der Löwe offer a balcony, wooden floors and a flat-screen cable TV. There is a suite which features a sauna, an open fireplace and a free-standing bathtub. The hotel is suitable for wheelchairs and the rooms can be accessed by an elevator.

The Löwe restaurant offers an Alpine gourmet cuisine emphasising on fresh and regional dishes, as well as afternoon snacks and homemade cakes (in winter). A 4-course dinner menu with salad and cheese buffet is offered.

There is also a smoker's lounge featuring a library, the award-winning Lions Lounge Digestif Bar awarded and a walk-in vinotheque.

The spa area features an adults only spa area with panoramic views located on the upper floor, and a family spa area with the indoor pool and several saunas. Massages are also offered and in summer, a natural swimming pond is available as well as a fitness room.

Child care is available from Monday to Friday and from 16:00 to 20:00 for children between 3 and 10 years of age.

In winter, the Leogang-Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Fieberbrunn Ski Area is within 1.8 km and can be reached with the free hotel shuttle bus. A family ski lift is close to the hotel with a slope leading back to the hotel, and ski passes can be bought on site. Cross-country skiing tracks are within 300 metres, while winter hiking and ski touring is possible right at the doorstep.

During summer, the LöwenAlpin Card is included in the rate. It comprises many discounts and activities, such as guided hiking tours, a children’s programme, and free use of the cable car.

Guests receive a 30% discount at the 2 nearby golf courses. There is a garage and washing facilities for bicycles and a free laundry service for bikers is offered. A bike rental is on site.
