The Gailtaler Hof is a small, family run hotel in the middle of the Carnic and Gailtal Alps. The Gailtaler Hof is a place to find back to yourself again. To have time again. Time for family, time for friends, and time for yourself.

In the Gailtaler Hof you not only meet the hosts Christine and Josef, but also the senior bosses Hans and Eva are still fully committed. Eva, who bakes the best cakes, still does this and takes our guests on a gourmet journey – true to the motto: “Cakes, the way grandma used to make them at home”. The Gailtaler Hof is a four-generation house and that means the next generation can be found here: Sophie with her son, little Magnus. U-30
… Within a radius of 30km: Our philosophy for food. Most of our food for the Gailtaler Hof comes from the region. We get them from a radius of 30km. Therefore also U-30. Because we think that our region and the farmers who live here have so many great products to offer and we don’t want to withhold them from our guests either. ADVENTURES
In summer the Gailtaler Hof is probably one of the most exciting motorcycle hotels that can be found. When you’ve had enough of motorcycling, you can relax in comfort by the pool. If you are a bit sportier, we recommend a historical or geological hike in the Carnic Alps, an e-bike excursion along the Gail, or you can take the Feinspitzweg (transl. “gourmet path”), which leads from one farmer to the next. The prices includes half-board witch means breakfast on the rich buffet and in the evening our 3 cours menü with big salat buffet and the choise by the main cours. For free is also wifi in the house and the using of the sauna on 1st floor.
