The ski resort was inaugurated in the autumn 1965 thanks to the mayor Mr Emile Mouttet. The first ski lifts were settled. Flats for the tourists were built. The resort expanded gradually and got 19 slopes for skiing, 40 kms for crosscountry skiing. It also went up to 2500 beds for touristic purpose. This is the story of a collective adventure.
