Katschberg - Rennweg - Sunnier and Snowier Austria Ski Holidays
The Lungau ski area houses the Katschberg-Aineck-Rennweg ski area (part of the Carinthia) . Though the area has an abundance of slopes to offer both to skiers and snowboarders, the inclusive ski pass gives access to Fanningberg and Brobeck Speiereck, where snow is guaranteed.

The ski resort is almost always sunny and the slopes are practically always covered in powder snow. If not, Katschberg - Reenweg can cover nearly all of its slopes with machine-made flakes. The slopes around the 2000-meters - the highest slope is at 2200 meters - generally get pounded, while the areas towards 1640 meters (the lowest point) sometimes need machine assistance.

There are 30 ski runs with over 66 km of pistes. The longest slope offers 6 km and a drop of app. 550 meters. There are slopes for all types of skiers: beginners, intermediates and experts. In total there are 10 blue, 50 red and 10 black slopes. Intermediate skiers will have the best slope selection, with the Katschberg intermediate ski slopes offering nearly four times the kilometers when compared to the blue and the black ones.

KATSCHBERG - RENNWEG ACCOMMODATION:
Three and four star hotels are common in Katschberg, as increasingly more visitors keep coming every year.
