Away from the traffic and the noise, our home, Haus Brandner, lies in a quiet sunny spot in Ramsau Leiten, 1000 m up. From spring to autumn, biking, jogging and hiking starts right on our doorstep. In winter, the ski bus stops close by, taking you comfortably to the Ski Amadé ski area with its four interlinked mountains of Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen, and Reiteralm, and to all-year-round skiing on the Dachstein glacier, or to the Ramsau ski region. The well-groomed cross-country trails literally pass our front door. The 1st Austrian Nature and Environment Adventure Trail - for big and small explorers alike - can be reached by foot from Haus Brandner, and it takes just five minutes by car to get to Schladming town centre.
