Ski holidays in Val di Fassa

The Val di Fassa ski resort nestles snugly in the centre of the eastern dolomites surrounded by the spectacular peaks of the Sassolungo, Marmolada, Roda di Viel, Sella and the Catinaccio mountains. Val di Fassa ski holidays allow you to ski in a different area every day since the resort is part of the vast Domoti Superski Area and its 669 individual pistes.

In total there are nine ski areas in Val di Fassa (Alpe di Lusia, San Pellegrino Pass, Falcade, Catinaccio, Carezza-Costalunga Pass, Buffaure, Col Rodella, Belvedere, Ciampac and Marmolada).

Available for use is the free ski bus all day, every day, to move from one area to another without ever having to worry about parking your car. In addition, Val di Fassa offers its visitors over 50 km of cross country trails including one illuminated circuit at Pozza di Fassa which lets you ski until 10 pm. Snowboard and freestyle ski fans find 5 reserved and well equipped snowpark areas with jumps, rails, boarders and kickers where they can satisfy their whims doing jumps and making acrobatics freely and safely.

Apres Ski & Nightlife

Apres ski, which means "after skiing", is a popular form of entertainment in Val di Fassa with its mountain huts nearby the slopes and its downtown nightlife. Just take off your skis and have fun with happy hour. Wait for dinner time while dancing the hits of the moment and sipping creative cocktails. Alba, Campitello, Pozza and Moena, all offer trendy places for entertainment, but Canazei is for sure the one with the liveliest night life and has the most apres skis, wine bars, pubs and clubs of all. Places such as Apres ski Paradis, Cliff, Lieber Augustin and Osteria La Montanara are rushed for by skiers after a day on the snow.

Every resort village within the Val di Fassa area has a wide range of shops, including designer boutiques, sports shops and specialist food and drink shops. Moena, Canazei and Campitello are the leading resorts for serous retail therapy.
