Hotel Gamshag

The Hotel Gamshag is located only one hundred metres away from the cable car to the Reiterkogel ski area. It is 1,500 metres to the cross country skiing trails, and the centre of Hinterglemm is also nearby. Visitors can enjoy the views of the stunning Salzburg Alps. In the winter, one will be in a snowy fairy tale full of winter sports, and in summer guests can ride the gondola to the highest local peaks, enjoy walking and cycling, and pay a visit to the nearby river. At the river, one can participate in exciting water adventures and activities. A climbing centre and golf course are just a few kilometres away.

The small hotel has 26 rooms, and therefore offers a more intimate, welcoming, and homely alternative to larger hotels. The rooms are practically furnished, and each has its own unique character. Space and light are extremely important, making the rooms feel large, light, and airy. Rooms can sleep from one to four guests. Each room has cable TV and a telephone, and most have a private balcony.

Guests can enjoy a delicious and wide ranging breakfast buffet. There is also a salad bar, and four courses are available for a tasty dinner. The restaurant specialises in local Salzburg delicacies and specialities. The hotel also features a great wellness centre. Facilities include a Finnish sauna, an infrared sauna, jacuzzi, steam bath and various treatments. In the winter season there is a ski pass vendor. Luggage storage is available. A true all seasons hotel, it is a great place for an enjoyable break, combining activities with rest, at any time of the year.
