Ski holidays in Val d'Isere

Val d'Isere ski, be it for the Olympic Games, Criterium de la Premiere Neige or World Alpine Ski Championships, this legendary skiing area is not exclusively for champions and is one of the most popular winter getaway breaks for skiers, snowboarders and party lovers. Val d'Isere and Tignes together make up the Espace Killy ski area. The resort sits at 1850 metres with the slopes reaching as high as 3550 metres; the vast terrain includes 3 glaciers and 300 km of runs. Snowboarders have 2 snowparks to keep them amused.

The Val Park Snowpark, is located on the back of Bellevarde (solid La Daille) in the valley of Mont Blanc (2500 m), the access to the snowpark in Val d'Isere "The Oakley Valpark" is fast and simple.

- Different hips and jumps of all sizes and all levels

- 25 modules with wall, rail banana, rainbow kick, flat track, dancefloor, barrels, up / flat / down, spine
accessible and very playful.

- 1 Boarder Cross for all levels with access by Mont Blanc chairlift which brings you to the top the slope.

Don't forget the "chill" area, a comfortable space with music, drink and barbecue (during events).

Accommodation in Val d'Isere is a mix of old and new and stretches along the valley of La Daille to the main centre. Most of the self-catering accommodation is to be found at La Daille which is a 15 minute walk away or short bus ride from the centre. If you prefer to be stationed nearer the lifts, then a Val d'Isere hotel would be your best choice.

Apres Ski & Nightlife

Val d'Isere is vibrant and cosmopolitan, the nightlife is buzzing with "Bananas" being popular with the young revellers. The Moris Bar is great for live music and themed parties. You can watch all your sports at the Pacific or enjoy somewhat strange French style partying at The Underground. The "Victory" is great for happy hour cocktails and visitors shouldn't miss going to Dick's Tea Bar after midnight.

Shopping, for a spot of retail therapy after a day on the slopes why not stroll through the main street of Val d'Isere to spoil yourself with a range of trendy shops such as Quicksilver, Poivre Blanc as well as upmarket boutiques and small shops specialising in local delicacies and gifts.
